Awesome. I've turned the Gold Rush into my annual trip down to W&M for basketball (I also do one home football game a year). I'm looking forward to seeing the Kap packed and I also too want to thank those who have made this possible.

If anyone is interested, there is a pregame party in the Wightman Cup room open to all:

A pre-game only public reception will take place in the Wightman Cup Room, beginning at 12:45 p.m. The reception is open to anyone 21 and over, and there will be a beer and wine available for purchase. Last service will be at 2 p.m. prior to tip-off.

After 3 years, Charter Day / Gold Rush Game is becoming a winter mini-Homecoming. This is perfect.
I hope they continue to expand the day with things like the Baseball-backers Dinner, which is tonight, and other reasons for alumni to come and reunite with old friends.

I will echo the thanks here. I find myself circling the Gold Rush game every year even though I'm local and go to all of the games anyway (well, not this year with a 7 month old - but I will be at this one!)
