Why was he ejected? Looks like a double technical? If he threw a punch, he can't play Saturday.

BTW, 1st time over .500 in conference play this year (finally!). 16 wins on the season and 7-4 on the road this year which I suspect is the best road record we've had in a long, long time.

JP said it was a flagrant 2 but was uncertain whether Evans threw a punch. He reported the FIU player did (and was also ejected). JP also said at the time that Evans had to be restrained by teammates.

La Tech doesn't score the last 3:45, but holds on to beat UTEP 62-61 in El Paso.
Rice now tied for 5th with four other teams, 1/2 game out of 4th place.

Looking at the box score, looks like Lott had a good game - 10 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists in 17 minutes.
Rice had 9 players with 10+ minutes, but seniors Drone and Mency did not play. I'd say that is a good sign for Rice's depth that two guys with a lot of minutes in their careers and who have both started are the 10th and 11th players at this point.
