Speaking from experience.

Was working on a house fire once and a waterlogged piece of ceiling let go and dumped what seemed to be a foot of blown insulation on my. The ceiling sheetrock knocked my helmet and mask off so I had insulation and sheetrock all down in my coat. The only thing we had on scene to get clean with was our sanitizer dispensers so here I was stripped to my waist in the front yard trying to get it off my neck and torso with towels soaked in hand sanitizer. It probably would have been less painful to burn it off with a blowtorch.

and with salt poured on the fiberglass as well.
