Iran fires another missile from launch pad, US official says

After every single transgression against the US by NK, Iran, Syria, etc. under Obama. I would always see it posted immediately on here no matter how trivial or small the event was. The cons celebrated Trump being tough on Iran screaming "new sheriff in town." They posted multiple threads on this Trump/Missile/Iran event. They even posted a thread about the missile being removed from the launch pad. But now that Iran has openly defied Trump in the exact same fashion as the "stepping over the red line" events you criticized Obama for...suddenly yall got real quiet. If this exact story happened and Obama was POTUS this would have been posted a long time ago.

The cons on here are a joke.

Do these Persians understand how lame it is to brag about shooting an rocket 35 miles? This should tell the world how totally out of touch with reality they are. Iran is maybe the biggest joke nation on the planet.

Here is a hint for the them...Your country has more people wanting to leave than want in. Your people earn less than 6 thousand dollars per year. You are one of the poorest nations on earth despite having a natural resource that could elevate your economy. You are not smart enough to even figure out how to make that viable. Your army and navy is a laughing stock. In less than 8 hours the US,Israel, Egypt and SA independently could destroy your pipsqueak nation by nothing more than air strikes on your infrastructure. You ragheads really need to check yourselves. It is not going to end well for you.

They never would have done this if Hillary were President. They certainly didn't do anything similar under Obama.

Obama caved to them, they are just testing the new teacher like any junior high class does. They think maybe Trump will send them hundreds of millions in a plane too.

Why is there hypocrisy?
Personally, I think we just make the missile platform a huge crater right now. And yes, I do think Trump does actually have to make a move on this, considering they put Iran "on notice". (again, I had issues with the "red line" and no response, so I think a response has to be done with this one).

What that move is? Dunno.. I'm not part of the administration, so I don't know what they're going to do.

What Iran is doing is very similar to what N. Korea has done for decades - test launches to get a rise out of people on the world stage and to strike fear in their neighbors. This is not the same situation as you would find where gov't forces fighting in an armed conflict used chemical weapons on their own people ala Syria.

I have to admit though - I'm not a big fan of "red line" diplomacy to begin with. Considering the U.S. is stretched thin as it is with current military obligations - why bluster about something that we will most likely not respond to anyways?
