The ideal birthrate is 2 children per couple, in other words, replacement rate. Outside of the moral issues against abortion, there's a serious issue when we kill off our own citizens before birth while importing 2 million legal immigrants every year. If there is that much work here, and I have my doubts on that, then why not reduce immigration to replacement level (around 250K a year) and see if we can't increase the demand for children to eventually enter the workforce.

PP is a non-profit with 80% of their patients living well below the poverty level. I highly doubt there is "tremendous pressure" to maximize revenue streams. This has all the makings of a just another propaganda hit piece.
