The schedule for next season was released today. Bummer, the harbor park game is at noon on a Tuesday again.

I agree...BOOOOOO! The best ever was the Harbor Park game against UVA at night and the Coaches Caravan was prior to the game in the Harbor Park restaurant.

What is the issue with the scheduling of this game? Why in the world does ODU continue to have it at noon?

This is the beauty of opinions I suppose. I like the noon start, though it wouldn't be terrible if it started at 1:00. It is fun to take a few hours off of work to have an afternoon of baseball, a beer, and a hot dog.

Early starts let the teams traveling a chance to head back and not miss another day. They do it for the students.

Plus the Tides host Lehigh Valley that evening. The ODU schedule is front-loaded with home games, and the only other times that Harbor Park would have been available for a midweek game without sharing the date with the Tides would be Apr. 16-18 and May 7-10, and it may be that neither worked out for both teams.

Anyone have a chance to go check out the intersquad game last night? I may go tonight.

Couldn't they just leave the morning of the game for a 7pm pitch? It really is a shame they don't play when people are off work.
