Retired? That's a loose term. No longer going to attempt to play for an NFL team is a more accurate proclamation.

Yeah, my guess is his NFL chances were dwindling, he got some arena football offers and decided he'd rather just enter the real world

If you read his post, in fairness to Mike, he said he's retiring from the game of football. To play as long as he has is a testament to his work ethic and drive.

The game is a blast to play when your heart is in it. When its not, that same game becomes much harder.

Congrats to him for all he's accomplished. He's an example other in our program should follow.
