Go to the bottom of the article.

According to Wikipedia his younger brother was 5'9" at age 7.

I guess I posted this article to start a discussion about a player like Tacko. After seeing Tacko play, if his brother ends up similar in size and ability, does Mick recruit him? Can a player like that add anything to the type of style of offense and defense Mick wants?

Great question; big brother certainly doesn't seem to fit Mick's style of play. And it's hard to argue with the type of team Cronin has built this season.

All hypothetical at this point, but I suppose if he's believed to be a 4 star big-time talent you could retool and build around him. If his skills dictate that he couldn't start for a high major such as UC, he'd be an interesting reserve player off the bench, especially against certain teams.

While Tacko has his limitations, he also does some amazing things out there. The old cliche should be updated: you can't teach 7' 6". How odd were those occasional floor level camera shots with him towering over Washington?

Last night, Dan Hoard said that the younger Fall is not tall.

I would be keeping an eye on him if I were Mick.

Problem solved - he'll fit into our style now!

Unlike Tacko, his younger brother is going up in the states...so odds are, he will have a chance to play a lot more hoops than Tacko, who just took up the game 5 years ago when he came to the states (was a soccer player when he lived in Africa).

The assumption being that, if the youngster is black and tall, he's bound to be interested in basketball and to excel at it. Would it be OK if he'd rather study mathematics or play the clarinet to the exclusion of all other activities?

Wrong...as his younger brother views Tacko has an amazing success story...that was able to work hard on the court to earn scores of scholarship offers after just a few years playing this new sport in his new country but also hard in the classroom (admitted to UCF's College of Engineering as a true Freshmen and has made the honor roll each semester).

But thanks for going for the cheap "racist" post.

KnightLight, I believe that Hank was actually saying the opposite - I read it as him being critical of people assuming Tacko's brother would automatically be interested in basketball because he was black.

Regardless of Hank's intention, Tacko's brother is fortunate to have someone he can look up to on a number of counts. Tacko represents so much of what is great about college athletics and our country.....
