Seriously this is if not the worst league in the nation, but at LEAST the most underachieving. Two big budget teams in MSU and scUM that couldn't beat out Sacred Heart and Canisius if they were in the same league. Plus Ped State who loads up on nobodies. Wisky is lucky they play MSU and UM four times a year each. OSU will melt come postseason. Minnesota has the potential to win a NCAA tournament game but anything beyond that is a reach.

I'm watching the Ped State-Minnesota replay. Gophers are walking all over PSU. It's clear PSU is pretty overrated. They're on their sixth true road game of the season (IN FEBRUARY), they played nobody in the first half of the season and now that they're running into a decent opponent it's clear they have a lot of work to do. They get a lot of press for all the shots they make and their high scoring, but their defense is weak at best.

Of course that dumba55 from Yahoo Hockey has Ped State ranked fourth.

Next 5 games are at Minnesota, at Wisconsin (x2), home vs Minnesota (x2). Would not surprise me to see them lose the next 5.

Unsurprisingly PSU melted like snowflakes tonight against the Goofs. They were up 2-1 early in the second period but then allowed two goals in two minute to have the Goofs take the lead, as the Goofs cruised to an easy 5-2 win.
