WBB at Northeastern 2/5/17
Dukes take on Northeastern today in Boston. Video is available on Madizone courtesy of Northeastern. Northeastern is up 10-8 with just under 5 to go in first quarter. Hall has all 8 of JMU's points. Time to get some other folks involved....

Nice run by those wearing purple. Hall with 4 minutes left in the 1st half. Defense looking a bit better now and NE going cold from deep (missed last 5 3-pt shots).

Good road win by the Lady Dukes. Held NE to 28% shooting from the field in the 2nd half.

Back to the Convo for 2 next weekend. The big one will be Sunday against league-leader, Elon.

With the win today, the Lady Dukes have moved up to #44 in the RPI.

Side note...we are one spot behind the Hokies, who lost again today (their 6th straight loss), are fading fast, and now host #14 Louisville (20-5) and then travel to NC State (17-6).

The CAA is now the 8th best conference in RPI for WBB. Elon holds strong at #25 in RPI.

JMU's 2 CAA losses are kind of mind-boggling considering Towson is now 11-11 overall, 4-7 in the CAA, and 154th in the RPI.

Nice game, good to see everybody getting their licks in. Logan is really having a breakout lately, nice to see! Also good to see Felgemacher playing well. I think once she stops thinking so much and just plays she does fine.

Northeastern's Francesca Sally is a very good player and would be even better with better coaching. I don't know how she was passed over by higher grade schools. She has a lot of raw talent. I noticed that when they played here. She was killing us until Coach O put Porter on her.

RE: WBB at Northeastern 2/5/17
FWIW, in this week's Bracketology projection by Charlie Creme at ESPN.com, he has the Lady Dukes in his "Next Four Out" grouping... http://www.espn.com/womens-college-baske...acketology

(note, I don't take Creme's projections overly serious since as recently as a couple of years ago I don't think he took it serious either...at all...but, I have seen him sharpen his focus the last couple of years to where at least most of his picks make some sense...and, he's updating weekly now...somebody must have said something to him)

He has Elon as the CAA's auto bid, which at this point makes sense. The LD's have moved their RPI up into the conversation for at large consideration. Just keep winning, Dukes!!
