2017 Commit Michael Warren named Parade All-American
Title speaks for itself. Along with being Mr. Football in Ohio this year, he was listed as one of the best on field players for this past year. We're getting a good one guys.

And, of coarse, they have him listed as a Toledo commit.

You're right, haha. The article was written in the 26th, it should have him listed as undecided.

We are the only G5 school with a recruit on that list. Pretty cool.

He was recruited pretty heavily. Committed to UK > went to Toledo cuz he has 2 kids, and wanted to be closer > of course he ends up with us.

Had P5 offers, plenty of em.

This was kind of a tough year for the 4 star RBs. Not a lot of holes at that position and quite a few great top end guys...But Warren did have around 20 offers with a majority from P5. He committed pretty early in the process (sophomore year with James Hudson) and seemed pretty stuck there. At the end of the day it got him here and we'll be better for it.

His offers looked roughly the same level as Ra'von Bonner out of Sycamore who signed with Illinois. Bonner was a Top 50 Ohio recruit, and Warren was Top 25. You would think Warren would have been a little more sought after. Especially after winning Mr Football. But hey, their loss is our gain!!

The fact that he committed so early probably hurt his cause. Many schools in the middle will back off on extremely early commitments, so if the OSUs, UMs, NDs of the world don't come calling, there tends to be a lull. Watching the two on video, it's not even close talent-wise though. Now ceiling-wise could be a different story, but as they are right now I would take Warren in a heartbeat.

An 18-year old has two children? Is this true?

It represents the sorry state in these "communities". Are they by the same girl?

Look Ono agreed to erect a memorial to a serial spermer (Sam DuBois) who had like 19 kids by a dozen or more females and to give them all free tuition. The tuition part is OK because I doubt that ever costs much.

Surely you aren't surprised?

I see it all the time... like during a break, a team will show a video interview of some 18 year old freshman.

"What do you care about most in life?"

"Mah three daughters."

All the more reason for him to see the value of education. I hope he succeeds in the classroom and on the field.

Lets try not to get too libelous about a kid who hasn't even graduated from HS yet.
