Marshall lost to USM last night which puts us all alone in 4th. Their next five game stretch is rough.

UTEP is on the upswing, they beat UAB last night and we need them to lose to MTSU on Saturday to back them away from the top 4.

6-1 in our last 7 games would definitely get us in the top 4, and 5-2 might. Keep winning!

I am as positive as they come, but I have us down for two losses next week. MT is just strong and UAB, we never play good there. Would love to be wrong but I don't see us winning those two on the road. Hope that's it for further losses though. But then again, that's why they make you play the games, maybe we get one of them!

FAU - W
MTSU - L
UAB - L
Char - W
Marsh - L
WKU - W
UTEP - L

4-4 remaining, if we are lucky. I could see only winning 2 or 3 of these games as well. Remember, we just battled wire to wire a Kenpom #284 team at home. Winning ain't easy for these guys.

MTSU will probably stay #1.

LT plays Marsall, UTEP, UTSA, FAU, FIU, NT, Rice, USM. I think that schedule is easier than ours.

UAB plays UTSA, Char, ODU, Marsh, WKU, MTSU, FAU, FIU. Pretty tough, about as tough as ours. The difference is they are a better team even though they just dropped one to UTEP. I think they still win more than we do down the stretch with both FL schools remaining.

Marshall plays LT, WKU, UAB, MTSU, ODU, Char, Rice, NT. Pretty rough. At least they get the auto win at the end of the year. The rest is in question for them. I have them beating us, I think they beat Charlotte and WKU and Rice. Lose to UAB and MTSU. Toss up with LT.

When you compare them all side by side, it's kind of daunting on us. But if we can win then we will be alright...?

There are still a lot of games to be played, and we have the toughest road trip still remaining. If you look at the 6 teams seemingly vying for the three remaining spots in the top 4 (MTSU, excluded), here are the remaining schedules:

To me, La Tech has the easiest remaining schedule, but we control our own destiny. We have our tough road trip, but then we play three teams with whom we are competing for the bye at home before heading on our Texas swing to end the season.

I predicted 12-6 in conference before the season began, and I actually think that's where we'll end up. I think that puts us 4th. In my mind, the @UAB game might be the biggest on the schedule.

This, I don't agree with. I have watched them play many times and they are very mediocre without Norton.

I say that if we can win one game next weekend, we'll end up in the top 4. Anything more is gravy.

I think we finish 5-3 and get top 4. LT is fairly easy, but the others shoudl have a rough time. Marshall has to travel to us and LT and they aren't playing well at all right not. WK sucks.
