I'm worried UTA is gonna be pissed from the first matchup this year and throttle us in Arlington.

I'm also excited to see if we can take some of our recent momentum and keep winning some games. I've watched just about every TXST game this year and I've seen just about every SBC team play at least once I think and I still can't tell if we're a contender or if we're about to go on a long losing streak to close out the season.

If we don't avenge that loss by at least 15, I'm pulling the plug on the season.

Fo I think you can be satisfied with margin of victory. Cross put in subs at end otherwise the margin would have been greater than it was.

Some times you just have to keep playing. We were dead from the 3 line and the charity stripe all night. Good game to the boys in the ugly shorts. 04-cheers

Fox said post-game he's ready to get fined. Not happy with the ticky-tack crap called by the Sun Belt Saturday Night Special refs that got four of our players fouled out.

Those guys were terrible. We almost fouled a guy out in the first half.

I'm not sure what it is about us that morph you guys into duke, but man we really struggle with you guys

Your players got in foul trouble because you got out coached. McCasland knew you'd defend outside the arc to take away the 3 and use your height advantage inside. You did that effectively at your place. He chose to drive against your bigs and force you to react. You did by fouling. Your guys were fortunate that the Redwolves free throw shooting was abysmal or this would have not been a close game.

The officials were horrible tonight regardless the fact that we helped App State along in their foul plight. They called every single touch foul tonight, completely disrupting any rhythm this game had

We should sign them up for Monday Night with Coastal Carolina bringing their 3 point barrage into town.

McCasland set the school record for most wins by a 1st year head coach today. We still have an outside shot to set a school record for victories in a season, but it's going to require winning the Sun Belt to get there.

Off the thread topic, but didn't want to make a separate thread.

Believe it or not, we (Coastal fans) probably appreciate this even more than the rest of you probably do. Because we heard all the chiding and condescension from Liberty about how it was so embarassing for Coastal to join the lowly Sun Belt, and that Liberty was waiting for a spot that was worthy of their grandeur in CUSA.

I hope they get that CUSA spot some day. 03-lmfao

They played well for forty minutes, something that has been inconsistent all year. Had they played like this all year, we'd have half as many losses, one SBC loss and still be in contention for an at-large berth. So all-in-all, I'm happy. I just hope we don't have (or need) another wake-up call to get our butts in gear.

Don't want to sound like a know-it-all, but I called this years ago, for everything but Ransdell - what ever that is.

I specifically remember WKU fans saying they needed to go to CUSA cause they take hoops seriously. I tried to say that both CUSA's stock was gonna fall and the SBC's was gonna rise. I was told I was crazy in part because of UTA's poor basketball history, which has everything to do with today.

The only thing that hasn't happened that I called is the SBC completely surpassing CUSA in baseball. CCU's addition should help, though I did not foresee that years ago when WKU announced their move.

Anyway, have fun languishing in a conference that is completely reactive. Watching CUSA's moves in realignment is like playing chess against a first-grader.
