Basketball v Marsha
Men won 91-76 (Record is 7-15 now; 7-4 at home and 0-8 on the road) All things considered I didn't even expect this many wins this season.

Women won 82-78 (were down at the start of the fourth quarter by 12 and at times by as much as 21) Brittany Norris had 35 points (32 of which came in the second half)

Good night for round ball. Must admit I'm pleasantly shocked the guys won especially by the margin.

RE: Basketball v Marsha
4 wins in conference play probably enough for a trip to Birmingham.

Best game we've played all year IMO.

Price is probably out for good. Strained ligaments in hand. He did not play.

Wow, Marshall must be terrible. Not to take anything away from the team, but we had more trouble with frickin' Houston Baptist or whoever.

Marshall is actually pretty decent but has struggled the last 2 weeks out of nowhere. They took Cincinatti to OT and lost s close one to Pitt also.

Weird. Maybe they're just worn out.

So they just roll the dice, and this time they rolled snake eyes. Sounds fun to watch.

Whenever something like that happens, I wonder if somebody made an awful racist joke right before the game, and it fell really flat and just spoiled the mood. Or maybe Joe Horn got somebody's wife pregnant or whatever. There's more to basketball than just size / speed / whatever.

RE: Basketball v Marsha
Marshall plays a super fast, high tempo brand of basketball. They score a bunch but also allow a lot too. Seem to remember us hanging 100+ in a loss last year up there.
