Our kicker does a little stutter move before he kicks. Kind of floats it towards the goalposts.

As long as we run the ball at least half the time, Cubits passing game would work with Eskrige in the Jordan white roll

I think this staff is into running the ball.

Not surprised by that. They are more experienced. And if they are attacking at all the offense probably is having trouble handling it.

I would agree that Flacco will be our starter at USC. TE 89 is looking good.

Brett Borske is 89. Got a good frame to do some damage.

That would be Giovanni Ricci.

We all know the challenge is on the QB's and WRers, but how did the RB's look today? We have some real talent in that sector-and the OL.

With all due respect to the BCE, that was just a pretty useless article. Told us nothing really. Trying not to go on a rant about the lack of coverage, I'm sure Cory from MLive will have something later, but how does the WMU football account not really use Twitter during the "game" to at least highlight scoring plays or big defensive plays?

RE: Questions for Spring Ball
Overall, I think Flacco looked better than Wassink. Wassink had a nice long run for a TD though, and a TD pass to Ricci. Flacco looked more accurate today. I don't think there is much separation between the two. At this point, it might come down to a game-time decision at USC, lol.
O-line looked pretty good at times, shaky at others, but might be attributed to strong D-line play. O-line will be a strong group again. Looked like Doyle was at LG and Novoselsky was at RT. Caliendo was the backup center.
TEs should be good. Borske had some nice plays.
RBs didn't show all that much, save for a few plays. Bogan was sitting out I think. Franklin looked strong. Bellamy is as fast as ever! Tucker had some good plays.
WRs didn't look bad. They will continue to improve, and I saw nice catches from Ricci, Watson, Graves, and Broersma. I think we might be okay at the wideout position. How do you replace Corey Davis though?
Defense overall was solid. D-line looked big and strong. Starters I think were Assoua, Finley, Matich, Balabani. Aguirre was out with a leg injury. Finley and Balabani both looked great today.
LBs should be strong, but obviously lack depth. 1st team was Bailey, Spears, Grace. Brown sat out I believe. Spears is going to be a stud.
DBs are a talented, deep group. Not much more to say.
Overall, QB play is going to make or break us. The run game is going to be our meat and potatoes, but we at least need to be a threat through the air. I hope Flacco and Wassink work hard this summer. What I saw today was encouraging, but there is a lot of room for improvement. I think it's safe to say that both QBs will absolutely be a threat on the ground. They've got some wheels! Our run game might be out of this world. We're going to run all over MAC defenses.
They played it pretty safe today, so there's not too much to analyze. No surprises. Solid football all-around.

Man. These people act like they are giving away state secrets. Not sure it hurts the program to say, hey, we saw an attacking style defense that looks ahead of the offense, two guys stood out in Balabani and Alex Grace.
I think that would suffice for most of us.

RE: Questions for Spring Ball
I liked Flaccos passing and Wassinks running. Contrary to what I'd read, Wassink might be a better runner that Flacco. I think we are OK with those 2, but they are both still a year of seasoning to get up to their full potential.
Bellamy is crazy fast. Franklin looks like a beast. Why would we expect otherwise?
They ran a few plays with an unbalanced line look, with an extra TE next to Chuks, and Ernsberger at the wing lined up in the slot between them. With Franklin or Bogan at the back and both Bellamy and Eskridge split out, you have a good number of possible plays. And I don't think there is a D in the MAC that can stop that look. Especially if Franklin can add a throw option. And either of the QBs could rollout option besides. The OC can relax and know he always has options.
That O-line, they all run to the same place and the field tilts. Monsters. They rule the 4th quarter. Well they will rule every quarter, now that I think about it.
D can play with anyone. They seem to be a little more willing to attack.
Kicker is a big guy with a funny style. Kind of a hitch in his git-a-long.

Anyone know why Matt Falcon was wearing a red jersey on the sidelines today? I had thought his ACL was healed by now.
