RE: Signing Day
Here is Harry's breakdown for the recruits:
Quote:THE BREAKDOWN
Possible immediate impact: QB Jordan Hoy will compete to start next fall. Expect Vanderbilt transfer TE DeAndre Woods (6-3, 238) to also compete to start, and LB Keisean Wilson (6-2, 230) is an amazing physical specimen who might contribute at a position where ODU is thin on talent.
Under the radar: QB Steven Williams Jr. was rated a two-star recruit, but has three-star highlights. He's 16 years old and at 6-4, is still growing. DB Austin Wood from Grassfield High wasn't highly recruited, but has immense potential.
Give Them A Year or Two: Cameron Muller (6-4, 305) and Jack Miller (6-7, 240) have potential on the O-line, so do DEs James Valle (6-4, 214), Marucus Haynes (6-4, 220) and Cameron Washington (6-4, 241). WR Amari Colbert (6-3, 194) has size and speed. TE Keion White (6-5, 295) has Power 5 size and speed and played a multitude of positions in high school.
Wilder seems to be playing the long game, which is a great strategy, IMO. His press conference and discussion with Ted left me feeling great about the potential we have at hand.
