Yeah, I'm starting to get a little nervous. Nothing on his twitter indicates anything is up, maybe he's waiting until the school day ends or something?

Let's give it a couple of hours. If it doesn't happen then, then panic can start.

I won't panic either way. It's an awesome class as it stands.

By the way, Illinois State signed Kobe Buffalomeat today, obviously winning the "best named recruit" award.

He is a 6'7" 285 lb offensive lineman, out of Kansas.

Cory Ryder's name is missing for some reasons. WM website just announced they signed 15 student athletes.

All very strange. Usually the schools release means the end of the class. Ryder reweeted about a half hour ago a post showing he signed with William and Mary. Could he be a walk on? I cannot imagine he would be a walk-on with other offers on the table.

Shon Mitchell's early enrollment could put him in race...

This story in the DP quotes Laycock as saying we didn't lose anybody who had committed. So I'm thinking PWO.

If Ryder is a PWO, that blows my "ring the bell" theory out of the water. W&M really must have been his dream school to turn down what I assume was a scholarship from HC. I think he will be solid. Hopefully he makes it onto campus.

Always possible that with the amount of scholarship money Holy Cross ended up offering, and W&M being about $10,000 less, that his family decided they were willing/able to cover the difference, knowing a real chance to earn a schollie going forward.

RTD piece:
Evans could create 'a lot of matchup problems' at William and Mary

http://www.richmond.com/sports/college/s...4cac0.html

Evans was #11 on RTD's A-list for central VA recruits.

RE: 2017 National Signing Day Thread
HC may have only offered him a partial scholarship. It could be our staff showed him our historic walk-on success and he's convinced he'll earn some help in a year or two. Or, maybe his folks explained that they'll cover his tuition and encouraged him to realize his dream.

Either way, congrats to Cory and welcome to the Tribe family.

One Tribe. One Family.

It, also, states we could add another member to the class...hmmmm??

We may see a FBS transfer after spring ball. Top HS recruits probably expect to start and may not take 4th on the depth chart very well.

I'd love to get another DL or LB in here.

Any intel on this or just a hunch? I'm curious what position Laycock would be looking to fill.
