My sources say this is correct, in that the game will be played in Lexington.......the county seat of Holmes County.

Of course UK is working on getting the game moved. They don't want to play here. The only reason the game was scheduled here in the first place is because they were desperate (they were originally going to open with UAB last year IIRC) and we had the leverage.

Whether we have any interest in doing it or not is a completely different matter.

I really don't see this happening. It'd mean only 5 home games = less demand for season tix sales. Also...an SEC team wouldn't be on the home schedule which means A LOT less season tix sales.

I think if they gave us 2 or 3 million it would more than make up for lost season ticket sales. Not saying I want the game moved by any means. But it is what it is, and we need money.

You could offer Calipari two million and he wouldn't come to the dump. He came with Memphis grudgingly, and refused to use the dressing rooms in RGC because of their medieval conditions. The Tigers dressed in the Payne Center and walked across the street. I'm pretty sure this was pre flipper but can't guarantee it.

That's honestly my point. If they're so dead set on getting it back to Lexington, then make them hurt for it. They don't hurt for money.
