Heard that Kenny Epperson may be here for the Alumni weekend on Feb. 11th. Been a long time since he's been back. All-time great for sure.

One of my all-time Rocket faves in any sport. Guy was as tough as they come.

He was so good. He kind of was at end of the era of excellence for UT. Coach was getting up in age and the run was coming to an end.

He was the first hoops guy I remember rebuilding his body. He really bulked up and muscled up by his junior year. I recall seeing him at Centennial jumping rope with a weighted rope-dude was strong!

Maybe he could bring his kid with him.

You're right he did get bigger and better every year. Shot fakes and had every move in the book.... he had the the same demeanor as Sanford on the court.

Maybe his son his making an official visit that weekend and that's why he'll be here, wouldn't think he'd travel from down under and his kid being a few hours away wouldn't visit official or unofficial.

Seems like someone reported not long ago that the younger Epperson might be making an official visit to UT, hopefully at the urging of his dad. But it would be a shock if UT was really in the running.

He's a high 4 star recruit and 247 sports has him as the 9th center in the class. Has offers from much of the big 10, Cinci, Texas, and others. Recently visited Illinois (reportedly for a 2nd time) and Purdue. On-line interview with him at Illinois he said he was planning to visit Cinci and Vanderbilt and something garbled about his parents - most likely they would be visiting with him. Didn't say Toledo, but the video isn't of the complete interview. 247sports reporting that Shaka Smart and Steve Alford have visited him in Indiana.
