RE: Standings
Looking favorable for another sweep for NMSU like 2015. Great start for Coach Weir so far.

RE: Standings
RPI is the worst way to give value to a team. But the only thing I would switch would be UMKC and GCU.

Not sure I could make the case for GCU over UMKC with a straight face when we literally took the L from them 4 days ago. I haven't seen enough consistency from this GCU team to even expect they'll finish in the top half of the WAC when all is said and done.
Majerle sounds just as baffled as I am about this team's woes. If the HC doesn't know how to get this team to lock in, make shots, defend without fouling, & give consistent effort/energy/focus for a full 40 mins by this point in the season (which he has admitted as much in recent post-game interviews), it isn't reasonable for fans to expect they will. I love your optimism, but can't go there with you.
I'd love to see minutes for guys like Kenzo, Oscar, Fiifi, and even Cheick increase through the rest of conference play. Let them learn on the court this season, when it doesn't matter, so they are more prepared next year when it does.

RPI is a flawed system and it proves itself when put up next to the other rankings in the original post.

Big test coming soon as the Aggies travel to Bakersfield and GCU.
