This was a must win - and we did. :) It takes some of the sting out of that ECU loss.

RE: TU v UCF Stats
Since Tacko was in the middle most of the time, there was a lot more passing and some of it was pretty good.....instead of reckless and constant driving to the basket. I was glad to see we were capable of that but I don't expect to see it again until we play UCF the next time. Tacko does not get up and down the court very fast, so I would think any team would have a chance against UCF if the they got the ball down the court and shot before he even gets to the other end. Either Haith doesn't believe in a fast break game or our players aren't very good at it but I only saw it a couple of times.

RE: TU v UCF Stats
I remember a book written by John Wooden, the great UCLA coach, called "Practical Modern Basketball" - You might try to find it in the library sometime. Wooden described the perfect fast break. It was a fast break where the ball never hits the floor - all passes - since that is the fastest way to advance it. Nowdays that has kind of been forgotten imo because the skills of the players are so advanced. But wooden was right about advancing the ball with the pass "first" imo.
