I'm glad to have Minter. He is the type of player schools like Mississippi State have been coming into Birmingham and signing. The more local players we sign, the easier it will be to keep future ones home. The nice facilities should help too.

UAB having "brick and mortar" facilities will beat the daylights out of "planned in blueprints" which will make Clark the envy of past FBHCs that we have had. This is the kind of school commitment the program has lacked in the past. UAB has had to do it the hard way, but it is finally getting done all the same.
