Kick out Baylor for Houston might work on paper for the big 12 now but it would be really messy with lawsuits.

When the B12 went below 10 members, they were in very real danger of losing a lot of money from the media partners. They got TCU to renege on their future deal with the oBE and WV went nuclear to get out of the oBE. After last years expansion circus, there are still a lot of hurt feelings out there. I'm not sure how many schools would be interested in the B12.
The B12 GoR, media, and membership contracts are all intertwined. If you kick a school out you may be opening a crack that would allow some other schools to escape.
That' didn't change anything,
Every AAC member sans Tulsa, Many MW members, BYU, and Rice would all accept if they were offered, likely at a reduced payout for a period of time.
