SU extends Key Arena deal, has talked about moving to future NBA-Seattle arena
SU radio announcer Bob Grosby said two days ago on 710AM ESPN that SU has extended their contract with Key Arena, which ended this year.

Despite moving half their home games to the 999 seat on-campus Connolly Complex, I guess they will continue to play some at Key Arena, hopefully go back to playing all D1 home games there.

Grosby also said that Seattle U was in talks with Chris Hansen, who has been trying to get a brand new arena built in SoDo and almost purchased the Sacramento Kings for that, to play in his arena if/when it is built. There now is 3+ more groups trying to build a brand new NBA arena in Seattle, so it appears SU has intentions of moving to that when it is built. A giant state of the art NBA arena, like LIU-Brooklyn did when the Nets and the Barclays Center came to town.
