Cross Wilkinson - now that sounds like a first team all-MAC name - right after Guagdani has it for a couple of years and everyone learns how to say and spell his name before he graduates. I just guessed at the spelling myself.

You mean right after Peters??? come on man, tighten up!

Well - if it is Peters, I would be pleasantly surprised. He is listed as 6'2" and 200 - which may be a stretch on his weight. I looked for him on the sideline a couple times this year and he seemed uninterested in the game. He was listed as 4th string QB despite having huge credentials coming out of HS and signing at Illinois. He left Illinois and I thought he was eligible to play this year - but maybe not.

Now - I don't know if you were just joking, or if you really think he is the next BMOC at QB for UT...

- Not really interested in weight/height stats listed by the school in college especially in the Mac... not sure about the uninterested in the game being listed as 4th string observation you have but whatever that your opinion..
Have you watched his HS film? Kid played 8A football in Florida and balled out man!! I have heard some Very good things about him in practice etc this year.
- What makes you really think Guagdani is the next BMOC?? Because he got PT this year? Did you watch him throw the football the year? Kid can run..but can he throw??
- Next BMOC we will have to see sooner than later, but dont ever count out the kid from Florida!!

I didn't say Guadagni is the next BMOC - you did. He is supposed to be the next in line since he was listed on the depth chart as #2 and Peters was #4 and never saw the field this year. Like I said originally, if Peters is the starter next year - I will be pleasantly surprised. Physically, he does not look ready to be a DI QB - certainly not in the Big 10 and with the o-line Illinois had. He may still be developing - and I know he was highly ranked coming out of HS. Rankings don't always translate to success at the D1 level.

I just hope they battle it out in practice and the guy that emerges as the starter will be more than adequate. We don't need him to be great - but it sure would be nice.

I heard they have named his playbook - The Book of Eli..so maybe we should expect greatness.

Hey JaxRocket, whats the word on Carter Bradley? UT have a shot at signing him? He's from Jacksonville Providence High and I think has already visited here.

An overview of the early signing period, from cbssports.com. I'm assuming signed letters of intent are showing up in offices around the country. Or will be soon.

Seems like this has become the new signing day. Feel like it will be a fight to hold on to anyone who doesn’t sign today, and just as much of a fight to fill out a class with good recruits vs all the P5 schools that will be trying to fill out.

I agree. That's why I was impressed with WMU--looks like they held on to all of their "existing" verbal commitments and still have an iron or two in the fire (although they may not get that one today). Rockets need to keep pace today. Hopefully this will end up being a very good day!

Since Western isn't going to a bowl game, their coaches have had plenty of time to get their recruits to send their LOI's in early. Our staff has a few other things to do. Feel so sorry for the Broncos.

Scout is reporting that Bolden has signed - no official word from UT yet, and that Wilkerson is scheduled to sign at 10:30.

Also got a 4 star OL who decommitted from Penn State early in the month.
