Wacky CAA hoops night
CoC loses to Towson in OT
Hofstra loses to Drexel in OT
Northeastern loses at home to Elon

Weird wild stuff.

Halfway through the conference season UNCW and CoC are running away with the top 2 seeds. If the season ended today, JMU would be in the dreaded play-in round Friday night at Charleston. AKA the Keener round

Towson was a 2 point favorite. Were down 8 I think late and came back, great game.

Hofstra lost Pemberton in 1H and still came back in 2H pretty impressively. They have a ton of talent when healthy (at least offensively) but they can't guard anyone.

NE could use Miller back, lost another starter in preseason and Coen was kind of using black magic for a while there OOC.

With a win on Saturday at Delaware JMU could be back as the #4 seed.

RE: Wacky CAA hoops night
Is there a coach in the league that gets less out of his talent than Joe Mihalik? Good grief.

Not worried about the 7 spot right now. 3 out of 4 games against the top teams out of the way and only 2 out of 6 against the dregs.

Last 5 league games are in the winnable column. Hopefully the mindset of the team is positive at that stage. Without those games, JMU is in danger, not just of the Keener round, but winning <10 games for the first time since Keener.
