Josh had the same type recognition his first year here and that led to higher hopes. Players started jumping ship 2 years later, so wait till the New Coach shine wears off.

Frankly, most know I wasn't on team Pastner for some time. But GT under him has far exceeded expectations this year.

No paranoia...just a logical conclusion.

Anyways, it's NTR. So, it'll eventually get moved. It's akin to posting an article about a list of hall of fame coaches and the current Tiger coach isn't discussed. Just cuz Tubby's a hall of fame coach wouldn't make that article Tiger related. Similarly, this is a solid sports article that belongs in the NTR forum.

1 I am baffled by josh's success at ga tech. How in the hell did one of his teams upset UNC and FSU?
2 I do not know if tubby deserves a spot on that list of best first year coaches. BUT, imho, on the court Tubby has DEFINITELY OVERACHIEVED with this roster of players.Now, recruiting has been much less impressive. But we will have to wait and see on that one.

I'll wager that one of Josh's assistants would top a list of "Highest Impact New Assistant Coaches" or some such.

Maybe Josh is figuring it out. It happens. But such a quick turnaround is not likely to be his own doing.

About time for Tech to give him a big fat contract extension, right Penny?
