GSU is 5-0 with freshman D'marcus Simonds back from injury. He's had 24, 14, 25, and 26 points on 61% shooting in last 4 games.

Not really. Our Athletic Department doesn't do straight doubleheaders anyway. It's hurt both our Men's and Women's attendance trying to put them together. No one is willing to go to a 5pm Women's game, and fewer are willing to go to a weekday Men's game that might not start till 8pm. We were one of the primary backers behind moving away from the DH's.

I forgot our Women's team played because 1, it was a road game, and 2 they are really bad.

Doubleheaders will be back sooner rather than later

We've got this system for at least 2 years and then the AD's will get back together again. Doubleheaders help schools like Monroe, but they hurt some of the larger programs who have enough of a fan base that they can draw for Women's basketball.

Weeknight doubleheaders are a mess to staff, and terrible for fans.

Not necessarily ... it can change for next year.

As of right now it's already been decided the schedule for men and women will flip---men play Th-S and women Sa-Mo.

Good. I think I prefer Thur-Sa. I don't mind being hungover on Friday's so much if I drink too much on Thursday night.

Tuesdays are a different story.

It's been decided that yes; but it is still subject to change.

TXST beats App 68-55 to improve to 6-3 in league play. Easily our best start to conference play since joining the conference.

Not your fault, and I'm on your side. We're tied with UTA now so thanks.

I'd say in any conference since the 90s

Georgia Southern was down 20 points a few minutes into the second half and has made a furious comeback. It's going to go down to the wire.

State and GSouthern tied at the top right now. GState wins and it's a three way log jam for first.
