We can put the capacity of many FBS stadiums on the home side out of camera view and you would never see them. It would look empty. We have some things in place this year to make it more cosy.

Rice has a surplus of tarps,I hear....

Another reason we're expecting a large crowd is that our opponent has a large following. I expect them to bring about 10,000 tomorrow. Their annual game vs Alabama State at Legion Field is always near a sellout in our 71,000+ stadium.

Yep and Georgia Tech and Tennessee is on 9/4, college game will be in Atlanta.

Yes Game Day is in Atlanta this weekend... I am the imaging voice for ESPNU Radio - SiriusXM 84, and I've cut all of the scripts with game day being in Atlanta.

Back to Gameday...

There is going to be a UAB feature on today's show & to top that the guest picker is former UAB QB Sam Hunt.

The Gumps are NOT happy. That by itself, makes this a great day!

But would be all the more reason to do it. If it were anyone else but ESPN another might enjoy sticking to Alabama.

"The Alabama/FSU game would certainly be the logical choice for Gameday, but since they are the ones that attempted to kill the UAB football program we decided that giving UAB the chance to showcase their revival is a much better story to tell the college football world."

Of course that will never happen. ESPN and Alabama to include the SEC are partners. They probably wish Alabama would have succeeded in killing UAB.
All This! I never expected College Gameday to come here, there was some conversation about UAB on their broadcast from what I was told, Sam Hunt was there representing, that's great, I was at the UAB game 4 hours before kickoff, I haven't watched CGD for almost two years, they are tools for the power 5 agenda. Would have been great if CBSSN or FSN, even ASN had taken on something similar. Tim Brando hosting it, too? He is big time admired by Blazer Nation. It was a glorious day, regardless.
