For the love of College Football, I hope not. So instead of putting money into something constructive and for the good of the University of Minnesota, they'll spend $$ on that crap. No elite recruit will put up with that and I'd bet that his former players got sick of it too.

would say that RTB wasn't as corny as reaching into a bucket and finally finding a fake diamond to pull out and call everyone on the team a diamond formed under pressure....etc. etc. etc. My best was before the Mich. St. game when he talked about getting on your high horse and march the streets of Sparta....still shake my head whenever I have occasion to remember that pre-game speech caught on camera. I feel like he could actually set Minnie back. Guys who are on the NFL fringe out of high school would rather go to a school where they are seen (Big10) than where they can contribute to a winner (MAC, for argument's sake).

With the recent #MACtion and what not, if you are a borderline NFL player are you willing to hitch your wagon to RTB even in if it is "Big Time" or are you taking a chance to play on ESPN on weeknights for Toledo or a rebranded WMU? Not NIU, nobody wants to go to NIU. But you get my point.
