Who You Got? 1.26
Full slate of WAC games tonight. My picks in bold.
GCU @ UMKC (Flip a coin)
CSUB @ Chi St
UTRGV @ UVU ***Upset Alert***
NMSU @ Seattle U
Picking 3 of 4 road teams to win is easier to do when 2 of those are NMSU & Bakersfield.

I don't usually participate in these...especially for basketball. But I will now, in order to help this board become a ....vibrant, welcoming gathering place. (Besides, I also have a few minutes to kill before lab)
NMSU (but I DO think they wont go undefeated. No slam, I just think every team has a stinker here and there)
CSUB I believe, will win....if they don't totally collapse down the stretch, and can hit at least 50% from the line. Kidding...but, kinda' not kidding too
UTRGV/UVU...toss up. But I think UVU probably should pull it out.
GCU should win this one.

I'm with you, Runner. Prediction posts are pretty cheesy, but for the sake of conversation. After UVU's 9pt home loss to Chi St, I just don't know what to make of them. UTRGV probably has even more offensive weapons than Cougars did, hence my going with Vaqueros.

Don't get me wrong, the Aggies are the front-runner and will likely be favored in every game, barring unforeseen issues. But, the conference has reached a point now where they (or any other school) can't sleepwalk over EVERY game. That is good for the conference. This week, I personally think the most interesting match-up this week is UTRGV-UVU.
Does Vegas have the weekly odds listed for WAC? (Im at work right now and all that stuff is blocked, so I cant check)

I think UMKC takes GCU. GCU has stunk on the road and I think UMKC is good enough to take them.
CSUB is the team to beat besides NMSU.
Utah Valley lost at home vs. Chicago State but I don't think they will vs. UTRGV
NMSU should win but the pressure is mounting with the win streak and getting votes on national polls and Coach Weir starting to get national attention. I think if the Aggies get through this weekend and undefeated WAC season is very possible.

You aren't worried about the trip through Bakersfield as another possible spot for Aggies to get tripped up?

I don't want to speak for Dancing, but from my point of view, if they get through this weekend's road trip with wins, I think it helps them to handle the objectively tougher CSUB & CGU trip. Call it confidence building.

Would love for utrgv to get the win at uvu but for some reason everyone on uvu turns into steph curry and hits a career high in threes. Every. Single. Time.
