The Vegas bowl should be awesome with the new stadium. Not Miami Beach bowl quality but good enough.

None of the Bowl games matter, outside of the NY6 and maybe three to four more. I could ask you the record of previous bowl teams you played over 5 years ago.. No one would know .. Id take a 6-6 Georgia in bowl over a 10-2 CMU anyway..

The AAC has better bowls than the MWC because we have 2 to 4 tie ins with P5 schools per year. They are down to one, sometimes 2 as a back up. They lost a cruddy bowl vs a MAC team. Again, I wish we would lose a cruddy game or two vs a MAC/Sun Belch/CUSA team. If there was one fewer bowl in the AAC line up last year, Army could've played an AAC school in Dallas instead of a rematch vs a 5-7 North Texas team.

I can think of a couple of AAC teams in that same exact situation; one won the conference and the other only had 2 losses this year.

The funny thing to me is that when San Diego st sucked at football everyone on here wanted them in the AAC. I remember a lot of posts about how classy SDSU and their fans were. Mourning that they weren't coming to the AAC's "western wing"... Now that their finally good everyone on here hates them!
