One dimensional is better than zero dimensional. I don't think Porter being a better score and shooter than Geno has added anything to the team.
Geno, at the very least, brings life and a want to play basketaball. Porter, the exact opposite.

I am kind of tired of seeing teammates extend their hand for a hand slap and Porter "leave them hanging" walking by them like he is annoyed by it. You can act like that if you average 20 plus points a game maybe

I missed that. Maybe that's why they were doing better when he wasn't playing.

RE: Basketball Log Jam
Geno gets to the rim almost every time, gets fouled a lot, I'll take that, dynamic in the open floor, you can tell teams are aware we want to run out because of how many people they drop when a shot goes up
Its the sticking with Armstead/Highsmith combo while they produce nothing offensively that is our biggest problem, Highsmith just doesn't shoot enough, not sure why, I think he needs to get 10 shots a game, and Armstead cant throw it in the ocean from the beach, so if he just plays defense and drives and dishes he adds value, otherwise, just an even trade
I love defense, I love that we are good at defense and think its important, because it is, and not everyone can do it, it keeps you in most games. But mathematically, if you create a possession because you play good defense, and that possession produces a missed FG, the net effect of your defensive prowess is zero, aside from clock consumption and betting the under, doesnt provide much value.
The defensive line up has a role, but its getting too much run, and its taking and missing too many shots

The thing I hate with the Coach Monty philosophy of not being comfortable scoring and having the ball is that when your defense slips to average or just below average like it has done in the past 2 games, you become a really really really bad basketball team. In this day and age it is becoming too difficult to ignore one side.

Geno can at least get to the rim, Porter forces almost every shot he takes near the rim.

Where is the stat that measures degree of being a cancer to the team? That's more important than any stat
