By all accounts, Rodney Bennet is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet. And so far it appears both guys he's hired as AD are really good guys. The human being in me can't fault him for hiring great people. But the die hard southern miss fan in me is scared we just hired McGillis 2.0. But as always, I'll be behind him until he gives me reason not to be.

All we can do is hope this guy can get the job done the way it truly needs to be done. With that said, I don't care if they are nice guys...actually I want cold, heartless SoBs running the show like they would their own business. We need some serious expertise and fast. It's gonna take some shrewd business decisions and ten kinds of hard azz work applied to vision to say the least.

I just watched the video, here's my take. He is obviously very moved by this new position and values his family above all else. With that said, he can continue to provide very well for his family by busting his azz to get us where we need to be!

This guy doesn't excite me at all. But I'll give him a shot.

Put a bow tie on him and its aubrey jr.

He's proud of his family and appreciative of his parents influence and sacrifice.

How could we have hired such a monster?

Kinda curious to hear answers to Rocks question. Uncertain if comments are tongue and cheek or serious. Please expand on being a monster and specific reason some see this as a negative hire.
