Agata Forkasiewicz
For those who may have missed it Agata, a recent signee from Poland, had one of the greatest Rocket debuts in history. In her first meet, a non-team scoring tuneup thing in BG, Agata won the 60 meters race in 7.43, the fastest time in the MAC this year and .01 seconds off the UT record. All this running with essentially no competition. Things are looking up for Rocket track.

I believe she was on the Polish Olympic team.

Great to hear. Now let's think big time & get some stadium lighting and also a scoreboard for the track stadium.

They will have to get some type of scoreboard when soccer moves.

What's her 40 and shuttle? We need some corner depth.

No shuttle time and I had to convert meters to yards but roughly 4.7 track time which is probably 4.6 in football time. Should be plenty fast.

Reportedly ran a 7.30 60m today, which is a meet record, track record, school record, and currently 8th in the country. Wow. Need to do more recruiting in Poland!

My thoughts exactly. She didn't break the record, she crushed it.

If I'm reading the results correctly Agata also blew the field up in the 200 w another meet record and we got a third in the 800. Women are just KILLING it in Marshall.

Her 200 time was best in the MAC this year.

In the 800 Petronela Simiuc won the event with also a track and meet record, and best time in the MAC this year. Rockets also took 2nd.

When I said a third in the 800 I meant a third meet record. Thanks for clearing that up!

Janelle Noe finishes in 4th in the 3000. So good to see. Looks to be a top 20 time in the MAC so far.

Rockets also take 3rd and 8th.
