Thomas has eliminated Auburn....Down to Iowa, Ole Miss and Arkansas. No mention of UAB at all.

I would take that with a grain of salt. Ole Miss is the only one I'd worry about.

The ONLY list that counts is the LIST of ONE a week from Wednesday. That NLOI is the list that counts as final, and I have seen many last minute shifts in commitment over many years of watching recruiting - some on that actual NSD. The best the staff can do is make sure each recruit has a Blazer cap on that day.

One of his tweets last night hinted he may sign with us. 247sports predictors saw that tweet and now 57% of them think he will sign with us. Fingers crossed.

We will know real soon. I remember reading somewhere that his decision was supposed to come early this week. The Ole Miss boards seem to think he is going with UAB.

I read earlier that he's planning to announce on Thursday.

Bill is racking up. Just think what he will do when the stadium project is official and he has those drawings on his coffee table.

Winning on the field is going to make a big difference too.

The stars may align just right for the next round of realignment. we could be sitting there with a bowl win or two, record attendance, new football facilities and a new 45,000 seat stadium under construction and an auxiliary arena in the BJCC for tournaments that is completely renovated and maybe even another NCAA tournament appearance for good measure.

We would be at the front of the line for moving back with our peers.

That is my dream scenario. A lot needs to fall into place, but things are starting on the right track. Need the stadium to come through soon and for our admin to get out of the way.

The growth of the university in general in terms of enrollment and new construction projects should help as well.
