One is SKYCTC (Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College) and then the WKU owned location just known as South Campus for some associate degree programs and students who don't qualify academically for the main campus. Neither has their own athletic teams. And both allow dual enrollment with full WKU student benefits. If a student is attending classes at South Campus they are technically a WKU student anyway since it is owned and operated by WKU.
But I assume you cannot take the "open enrollment" players like Ark State, ULM, and Troy ?
In other words, could this guy have played at ULM without sitting a year ?
No, this guy would have had to sit out a year regardless of where he went because he declared for the NBA draft and then backed out.
"By entering his name in the draft, Diagne automatically gave up his eligibility for the 2016-17 season at Northwest Florida or any other junior college. The NJCAA, the national governing body for junior college athletics, does not allow players to enter the NBA draft.
It appears that Diagne has several options for next season.
He can pay his own way at a junior college and earn his associate's degree. He would then be able to transfer to an NCAA Division I school.
He can pay his own way at an NCAA Division school. In either case, Diagne would have three years of eligibility remaining.
He could go straight to a D-II school where he could play immediately.
Or he can continue to explore his professional options."
obviously he chose the D1 route by coming to WKU.
