That 2018 team is 1 or 2 pieces away from being a really scary team - the kind of team that could put Memphis back on the map.

Well I wish Dedric was going to be a Tiger for the 4 years and it wouldn't be the worst thing he could do but more than likely not happening. With that being said, has there ever been 3 brothers on a team before (all being starters)?

Why no Tyler Harris? Shouldn't we want the much higher ranked player?

Depends on if you're taking the East/Team Penny group (Moss, Lomax, Chandler, Dandridge) as a 'package' or just signing individual players.

With Moss and Lomax, you wouldn't have room really for Harris.

If you're just signing highest ranked, then you wouldn't want Chandler either since he and DJ Jeffries play the same position - obviously both can play on the floor at the same time in today's game, but you get what I'm saying.

There have been rumblings he will reclassify like Dedric did.

I agree - I don't think Rykoek, Rivers or Enoh is starting.

The hope is that after a year on the scene, the staff has the pulse of the city and the CBB happenings by now...based on what the new beat writer said, I expect a grad transfer and/or a JC player.

Won't be shocked to see 1-2 current guys not on that list by the start of next season either.

That would be a big mistake. I saw him struggle this summer against older kids. When he doesn't have a size advantage, he's not so stellar.

He's still pretty thin, right?

But I think this is becoming similar to trying to talk kids out of declaring for the draft early when they're not ready. Seems to be more common for a kid to reclassify than it used to be.

If Nick Marshall was able to reclassify...
