The biggest diss you can give some of these guys is to find out they wear a slicker. It is a manhood thing. In many neighborhoods your manhood is based on the number of beeches you knock up.

When we put these young men on such a national platform, it's easy to forget how young they are. Few life experiences. Undeveloped judgment. Lacking social skills. I doubt I could have handled such attention well at that age. So I think a little grace is necessary.

That's one area where Josh shined. I totally questioned his decision to bring in Geron, especially after the mess with that psycho Kendrick. But at the risk of sounding like I'm saying, "It's all about the kids", his reclamation project worked with Geron. And a couple of others.

If I were Tubby, I think I'd take Nick back in a heartbeat. I'd love to have him against Sasquatch this afternoon, for instance, but more importantly, Nick's chances of a fruitful life go way up if he's got a college degree.

His baby mama says he will definitely be enrolled and playing somewhere in Fall '17. Like the OP says, Nick makes no secret that he would love to come back. It seems he realizes that he really screwed up. So, do we want him back?

I'd take him back, if he sits down and convinces the staff that his head is on straight. Problem is, Nick could barely stay on the floor when he was practicing and playing every day. No telling what kind of shape he's in after taking a year off. If he really wants to do this, he should find a way to move to Memphis and begin working out. Now.
