Uconn really needs to get it together. Our league needs them to be at least decent at basketball. I would enjoy a beat down typically - but this is just not good for our league.

This is a lost year. There's a handful of reasons (or excuses if you prefer the Memphis posters' style of discussion) that would suggest this year's disaster is an anomaly, but you never really know. What I do know is that if he doesn't get it together next year he could very well be the first UConn basketball coach let go in 30 something years.

I think it's an anomaly. You're one recruiting class away from being back on top. Ollie just needs to get it together recruiting.

I wouldn't get rid of him just yet. That could really set Uconn back if they fire him and get the wrong guy.

You obviously don't pay attention. We threw 9 out their but only the starting 5 can do anything. We have no bench. KJ, Markel, and Jeremiah didn't come out the game last night in the 2nd half. We are literally playing with 5 guys every night. Suck it up.

Jake McDowell is a former walkon given scholarship this season.

None of these guys really play at all or contribute much. UConn has 8 guys that can constribute. Your depth is 8 strong. Ours is only 5 with Chad still injured.

SMU has 7 (5 that can actually play). Doesn't UCF have a depleted roster too?

So is it safe to say if Memphis lost two of those 5, who are the only ones who can do anything, plus 1 or 2 from their already short bench, Memphis's season would be unaffected and expectations wouldn't be altered at all?
