Why? Houston vs SDSU draws better then UNC/Kentucky basketball. The networks don't give a ****. The ads and presidents from the basketball schools would want it before he networks would.

There is almost zero $$ in college basketball regular season TV contracts....as 80-90% of each conf tv contract is tied to FOOTBALL. (Hence, why Navy was added...vs an all-sports team).

I'm OK with dumping Tulane, but Tulsa is one of the few schools that is decent in both football and bball in the AAC; UConn will bounce back in bball (pun intended) and hopefully their new/old coach can get their football program turned around. Like I have been saying, Aresco needs to add Army football and BYU all sports, or at least add WSU, Gonzaga, St. Mary's (or UMass, Dayton, VCU) for BBall in the interim.

I know it was a troll to the UCONN OP, but I am in support of dumping Tulane; if you want to talk about getting "trolled hard," we should talk about your school getting played like Liberace's piano by the Big 12 for over a year...I bet that hook hurt a lot more! lol
