CFP member changes
just saw that 3 new members to the committee were announced today...

gone will be Barry Alvarez, Condoleeza Rice, and Lloyd Carr(who never served on the committee but left due to health reasons)

in their places are Frank Beamer, Gene Smith(OSU AD), and Chris Howard(Robert Morris president and former college football player)

note to teams- you better be good in special teams now with Beamer Ball in charge :)

Gene ******* Smith? That's as unobjective a guy you can get.

RIP Condoleeza. Always wondered how much she actually knew behind the scenes.

Probably not any worse than Barry. Big 10/Pac 12 a little less overrepresented. Don't know anything about this Robert Morris alum.

Chris Howard is Air Force alum. Sounds pretty impressive. Rhodes Scholar, MBA Harvard. Spent some time working at Oklahoma.

Condoleeza Rice is a big football fan and follows Stanford if I recall. She was knowledgeable enough. I have heard interviews with her and she held her own

RE: CFP member changes
CFP selection committee's main job is to get the top 4 right.

Definitely not 100% so far, but pretty good job.
