Noticed your sign line had USM 0-0 versus PAC 12. Believe 0-2 versus California back in 2003-2004. California actually played at the Rock. Hell of a game if I recall correctly. Believe their starting QB was Aaron Rogers

Oh, let's not forget Washington in the 2015 HOD Bowl.

And two RBs that played pro ball. Believe one was Arrington. He was a stud.

Dang, I was actually at that game. I'll get that corrected.

Forgot about the RB's. You're correct, Arrington was a stud.

You made me curious. Here's what I found. Interesting

yeah, that is where i pulled my info. Due to conference realignments, some of the W-Ls have to be moved around.

The most un-favorite time of year.
Minimal interest in the NFL
"" "" Basketball
"" "" Baseball
"" "" Nascar

Deer season over. Not quite time for fishing.
Recruiting is a crap shoot and based mostly on opinions.
Nothing some of us can do but look back on seasons gone bye and wonder what might have been.

That game at The Rock was my junior year in college. Hell of a game even if we lost that one. The atmosphere was incredible, Cal was highly ranked but it felt like the same atmosphere of the 2003 TCU game. Still, USM managed to play that Cal team that had JJ Arrington, Marshawn Lynch, and Aaron Rodgers close enough to cost them the Rose Bowl that year. Texas got in instead and they had several loud, bodypainted fans who made the trip to Hattiesburg holding signs about how the Longhorns loved the Eagles. I hate people who brag about quality of losses but that game was pretty great.

It was pretty cool watching Tirico....Herbstreit.....and Lee Corso climb the steps in Sec. "G" from field level to the press box. Two of them were pretty gracious. Corso still remembered being pelted with Moon Pies from Southern Miss fans during that cold nightly parade for the Mobile Bowl game, and he showed his displeasure.

Those Texas fans were actually a blast to hang around with during the pre-game stuff too...
