They look quite poised for at least making the National Title game playing the winner of 4 seed Florida/7 seed S.Carolina in the Final Four. An easy draw it appears.
Championship game that will be tough with Kentucky, North Carolina and Kansas all still in the field in the opposite bracket.

RE: How far does Gonzaga go?
So just about 17% of respondents thought Gonzaga would make the Final Four. Where was our faith?

I picked them to make the elite 8 like most people did, and I think if Arizona would have played them yesterday I think we would have been right.
Arizona wasn't their opponent and now the Zags are in the final 4. Everything worked out for the Zags and I'm happy for them, I hope they win the championship, it would be an amazing story.

I think we do the Zags a disservice when we say they are only in the Final Four because of who they didn't have to play. This team would be a legitimate contender no matter who is in the FF with them. There aren't many teams I would want to trade rosters for if I were Mark Few.

It's just my opinion, and that doesn't mean my opinion is right. They already proved me wrong once in this tournament (vs West Virginia) , so of course they could of done it again.
I'm not sure it's such a bad thing to point out how their path has gotten easier nearly every round of this tournament, it's just a statement of the facts laid out in front of us.
As I'm typing this, South Carolina is in the process of closing out Florida, so Gonzaga's path to the championship game will have been through a #16, #8, #4, #11, and #7 seeds. Yes, they still have to win the games, and I understand they have no control over who upsets who, but their path is what it is!

Anyone who made it to the Final Four is battle tested. It's gonna be a fight for the Zags. The lowest seeded team South Carolina beat was a 10 and highest was a 2 and no one else lower than a 4. If they can beat Duke, they can beat Gonzaga.

It is true that Gonzaga only had to go through the #16, #8 and #4 seeds to get to the Elite Eight. That's what happens when you are the #1 seed. Those are the highest seeded teams they could possibly have played. North Carolina's path to the Elite Eight was identical - #16, #8, #4.
The difference came in the fourth round. Carolina had to play #2 Kentucky, while Gonzaga drew #11 Xavier (who beat #6, #3 and #2 to get there). Carolina won their game on a buzzer beater, while the Zags ran their opponent out of the gym.
Every team still playing deserves to be there, and every one of them is capable of beating the other three. If Gonzaga had to play Duke next, instead of the South Carolina team that thrashed them, I don't think this discussion happens. But you don't play the name on the jersey, you play the men wearing the jerseys. If I'm North Carolina, I'm just as happy to be playing the Ducks instead of the Gamecocks.

How far does Gonzaga go?
Gotta say, Gonzaga really earned my respect during this NCAA Tournament. This was a really great run.

The game was there for the taking. It's a shame they came up a little short, especially against a dirty program like Carolina.
