Ahh, ok. They didn't list the sequence in the story I read.

I think tonight was a learning experience for this team... can't get too high on a win day one because day two you gonna get whooped on if you don't have the same day one intensity... team looked night and day different from Friday. Sluggish... poor passing... turnovers and oddly times poor goaltending... just a bad game top to bottom.

Definitely a wake up call for this team, in this league if you don't bring your A-game every night you're gonna get beat, bad. Hopefully they can get it together next weekend and sweep CC out of town and keep the pairwise ranking high.

We better bring our A game against CC, because they've had our number in the past.

I'm not freaking out about Saturday's loss. I was at both games and there's a good reason why Denver is #1 in the nation. Friday's game could have gone either way. Broncos were sluggish out of the gate on Saturday and it cost them. WMU will drop one, maybe two, spots in the national polls but that will be it.
Have a feeling they will rebound and have a good series against Colorado College next weekend.

I don't think we drop at all in the polls, lost a spot in the pairwise, but still 9th and in great shape.

Dunno if we drop in the polls or not, but I have to question the 'still in great shape'. We got clobbered on our own ice by the #1 Team. Ok, they're a good program-but this is a school we play often, they're in our conference.

We've played UMD 4 times this season, beaten them once, lost two close ones on their ice but GOT SPANKED ON OUR ICE.

Solid programs may lose at home occasionally, but they don't get obliterated by a conference rival. That's unsettling to me, I thought we had more stuff than to allow that to happen.

We've only played UMD twice. We beat them once.

We've beaten the #2, #3, and #7 teams in the pairwise, with 6 of the 8 games coming on the road and the easier part of our schedule coming up.

I'd say we're in great shape.

Freshman goalies sometimes have bad nights.

Sorry, I meant to say we'd played DENVER 4 times. The rest of my comments are correct.

.regardless, I'd say 1-1 at home and 2-4 on the road vs top 10 teams is solid. It's all about that qwb for the rpi/pairwise. Focusing on one game is your prerogative, but it doesn't matter if we lose by 1 or 100, the computers don't care. If we make it a habit I'll get worried but not yet. Especially because we blanked them 3-0 Friday.
