We don't need to keep ANY "Fleck-isms" unless Lester feels comfortable using similar expressions himself.

Fleck is gone, and his methods with him.

Give Lester full opportunity to run program the way he sees fit, including motivational techniques.

I think Lester needs to be the "Juice Weasel" for motivation. It's PJ on steroids! :)

This! As long as the culture stays, I don't really care what the slogans are.

Emphasizing and teaching team principles and values in a way which sticks with players to the extent that they work with a greater purpose is more than "style". It's substance, and there is a substantive difference between coaches who are able to do this with success and those who are not.

Lester certainly should be his own man. But if something has worked well he would be wise to continue the same. Common sense is important for a coach.

I think I the best one, and one I hope we keep was "Never let circumstance dictate behavior"... it's ROW the boat without a boat or oars... you don't jump out and start swimming just because the water got choppy...

This misses the point. Of course slogans etc don't help a team win once they're on the field. It was however a huge part of getting the talent into the program in the first place.

I do agree that Lester doesn't need to try to be something he's not. I hope he has his own way of keeping the recruiting momentum going.
