I saw stAte's recruit from Paris
Last night at Chaleston. Lycia Peevy. Tall, athletic, runs well. Looks like she has ought to be a good one. However, she did not seem to play with much emotion, especially for a close conference rivalry game. That might have had something to do with the fact that Paris has 8 players, so she played every minute of the game.

I still do not understand how coaches use their big men. Most of the time Peevy would get the ball on the perimeter, make a few moves, and shoot from mid-range. If they had posted her up low, it would have taken three Charleston players to cover her.

That's good to hear because we sure don't have a good big now. But you are right, so many of them want to shoot the ball from outside now. I figure UALR will have an easy time of todays game. Not only do we have 7 Freshman, the two best ones are both out, one for the year and the other probably the rest of the year and our best scorer went downtwo weeks ago. We have some talent but no experience .

I'm only going to the Women's game to see Joe Foley's hair piece. That thing is full of surprises.
