I thought we needed to get one started PJ didn't win till his was lonnnnnnnnnnnng

If you didn't read the bottom I'm just joking around the PJ one started quiet the stir here. I went from quite upset to ok now. Lester is not my first choice but I hope he wins and stays around. He seems like a good dude and deserves our support.

This thread will get bumped when we get waxed by USC next year, and WMU doesn't even look like it belongs on the same field.

TBH USC is going to be a brutal game no matter our coach. They are going to be stacked next year, better than Wisconsin was this year and we will be worse. MSU game is where we will see.

Yeah, that game is likely a big L, even if Fleck were still here. Still planning on making the trip though.

USC is likely to be a playoff favorite to open the season. Even this year's team probably gets waxed in that game.

I agree. Still doesn't mean it won't get bumped. Losing is one thing. Losing and not looking well coached is another

I know this post was in jest and I like a laugh as well as the next guy, but it's time to rally around Tim Lester. He's our new HC, whether you supported him or not.

And always remember, Broncos don't let their friends become Chips!

LOL. EMU gave us their best game this last season and they still lost. Still, they are on an upswing with this new coach. He's doing a good job.

Creighton should go into the hall of fame if he wins 9 or more games next year. No waiting period. Just go in.

And no waiting period for everyone in Hell to start shopping at Burlington Coat Factory... because it'll mean Hell has In Fact frozen over!

RE: Fire Lester
You guys are hilarious!

The reality is, under Creighton, EMU is a great place to play football lately. Our attendance will keep improving as we build upon a successful season and enthusiasm increases with next season's expectations. After our California Bowl win in 1987, coach Harkema retired a couple seasons later. Then we had bad hire after bad hire by selecting P5 coordinators with no experience. As you can see that was a disaster!!!!! Fleck had much success without being a head coach but he's an anomaly and not the standard. Lester has head coaching experience so I give Beauregard credit for selecting him over Wheatley.

At any rate, I do expect EMU to win atleast 8 games next season and you're right Creighton will probably get a better job. Hopefully our AD, Heather Lyke is still in place to hire a new coach with HC experience. The new coach will start out much better than Creighton and hopefully keep building a winning tradition.

Be humble WMU, you're one bad hire to undoing a lot of great things Fleck accomplished.
