La Tech at Old Dominion
Our top player Branden Stith is probably out but Caver, Talley and BJ at all scoring in double figures, plus La Tech is our b****.

ODU 70
La Tech 58

Considering we were barely able to beat USM until the last minute of the game, it's going to be a lot closer. Just depends on how much zone LT wants to play

This game is a must-win if we want to keep pace with MT in the conference standings. Will not be an easy one

If BJ is shooting like he did against WKU & MU then I think we'll win comfortably if not it'll be decided in the last 5 minutes like pretty much all of our games regardless of who we play. They ain't pulling none of that 360 bull**** in our house though.

I don't know much about Coach Konkol, other than that he is a Larranaga protégé. Is he as much of a drama queen?

Also, all Monarchs be warned: Ass't Coach Tony Skinn will be in the house. We will need to wear our double-enforced protective cups.

I expect it to be close. I like the talent on LT. I have no clue how they have zero respectable wins on the season....coach issues?

We seem to have a hard time putting a complete game together. Some games we play well defensively or we play well defensively for 32 minutes only to be run over in the other 8 minutes. FT shooting has been really good to really bad. Things that you think you have some control over because they are mainly hustle and focus intangibles have been inconsistent. I think coaching deserves some blame but we only returned 3 real contributors from last season so I am hoping they will begin to mesh in the next couple weeks. I think ODU will win this one. Tech is to streaky.

Regardless keep an eye on Bracey. Only 5'11 but is fun to watch. Boykins is also fun to watch. You saw the dunk but his length can be a real issue for opposing teams defensivly and he can get hot from the 3 pt line.

Bracey is good but Jalen Harris has the potential to be the CUSA POY in the future. Harris as a freshman has already scored 24 this year and was named freshman of the week earlier in the season. But Harris didn't make the trip because of an illness.

Dawgsass was waiting for another La Tech poster to post in this thread so he could participate. He probably has the rest of us on ignore.

We have lots of young talent but can play really good or bad at times - should interesting and hope the guys that were out with the Flu against UNCC are back - anyway I plan to watch on TV tomorrow. Coaching is still a question mark to me

May all Bulldogs and their fans wake up with a nasty case of pink-eye Saturday morning.

Geez, Smitty, I didn't realize that you'd paid a personal visit to Ruston. Sorry 'bout that.
