Home of two of the biggest losers in NFL history, certainly in the last 30 years.

The Anaheim angles might want a new stadium

Didn't it get remodeled a decade ago?

Two decades ago, when Disney bought the team. Renovations were done throughout 1997.

The Angels have an option to exit their stadium lease after the 2018 season, but they won't do that because they'd have no ballpark for 2019. The Angels owner recently considered building a ballpark in another nearby suburb but apparently that city would "only" give him the land but not money for the ballpark, so he wasn't interested.

As a guess, the team and Anaheim will eventually agree to share the cost of another renovation at Angel Stadium. The location is close to ideal for the Angels, land elsewhere would be costly, and building a brand new ballpark would be 4 or 5 times the cost of renovating.

No different than the Dodgers. I don't imagine there is any free land in SoCal with the accessibility of the current location

LA is so big, it could support another MLB team.

What about LA makes you think that? What precedent has this city/metro set to make you think yet another sports franchise in ANY sport will be supported. Just saying it's big is not enough, clearly.

New York once hosted 3 teams and still could (especially if one was in New Jersey). Also, remember the Sacramento Kings were almost a lead pipe cinch to become the Anaheim Royals, the third team in the LA market.

Check the Dodgers payroll. If a team even had a third of that they could field a viable MLB team. It's very possible for a third team to play in LA.

Why not move the San Diego Padres over there?? Gets all pro sports out of San Diego, and supposedly increases the Padres worth. Let Kronke own the team, since he's been interested in MLB anyway. From the way a lot of pro sports team owners talk, everyone in LA is just throwing around huge wads of cash everywhere, while all other cities are reprehensible cheapskates, like Ebenezer Scrooge.
